Rainbow, to me, is a color unto itself.
Each of us is a spectrum of experiences, feelings, thoughts and style. These things are ever changing as we go through life. Sometimes, we are more frivolous in our attitudes. Other times, we are more focused and disciplined. The colors of our life wax and wane as we go through these ever-changing moods.
So too, every person we meet is a rainbow in flux. To be human is to change, to learn, to grow. To be human is to experience your own colors in your own way.
On my journey through life, I meet many people. Many are open-minded like me. However, there are those who are in stuck in prisons of black and white thinking. They don’t know that the light cannot exist without the dark. That there are no rainbows without allowing all of our colors to shine.
Each of us is a collage of colors. We shouldn’t be afraid of these boisterous colors in our souls. Neither should we try to tame the flamboyant hues we see in others.
To me, rainbow is a noun, an adjective and a verb. To me, rainbow is passion personified. To me, rainbow is the new black—even if it is a bit bright.
